The dance studios where we teach here in the DC area are closed for at least two weeks. We know that many of our ballet-dancing friends will miss doing their pliés and tendus during that time, so...
Coming to you LIVE this Tuesday, March 17, 7-8 pm:
We'll be co-teaching a ballet barre, Low Intermediate level. It will be streamed on Facebook Live and on YouTube (for our non-FB dancer friends). Cost is $10, payable to us via PayPal (plautr@gmail.com) or Venmo (@Roger-Plaut). If using PayPal, please choose the "friends and family" option to avoid extra fees.
All you need to join is ballet shoes or socks, something to hold onto (a chair or your kitchen counter should work), and enough room to move your legs and arms around
(without kicking the dishwasher or the cat :) )
To join, please send your payment, and then send us a private message. We'll invite you to a private Facebook group with information on how to connect to one of the live streams. We plan to leave the videos online for a few days, probably until we teach the next one.
Depending on the level of interest, we may do more of these in the coming weeks. Please note that this class is intended for those with ballet experience.
We also plan to do a Ballet for Westies class soon for our WCS friends. :)
