Here we go! Debbie Tuttle-Steffanina and Roger Plaut will be teaching the International West Coast Swing Rally / Flashmob choreography online every Thursday for the next 10 weeks!
Then, for those who want to participate, Mané Rebelo-Plaut and Roger will be putting together a Virtual Flashmob video! In case you're wondering what we mean by that, take a look at the "Together in Dance" video that we created in May--that's the kind of video we'll be doing for this. Our goal is to finish the video in time to release it on the "official" Flashmob date, September 5.
Mané and Jeff Steffanina will be helping us demonstrate! 🙂
Here are the details:
We're teaching online every Thursday evening for 10 weeks, June 18 through August 20, 7-8:15 pm Eastern.
You'll have two options to participate: Zoom or Facebook. In case you can't attend a session live (or if you just want to keep practicing!), you will have access to a recording of each class you sign up for.
We want to make these classes accessible. If you want to participate, we ask that you pay $5, or $10, or $15 per class--your choice. If you want to pay in advance for all 10 classes, you'll only actually need to pay for nine of them, so your total cost will be $45, or $90, or $135. If you are in a difficult situation financially but still want to participate, please send Roger or Debbie a message, and we'll work something out.
To sign up, send payment via PayPal (plautr@gmail.com) or Venmo (@Roger-Plaut). If using PayPal, please choose the "friends and family" option to avoid extra fees. If you want to pay by check or Zelle, please send Debbie a message. IMPORTANT: When you pay, please include a note with the date or dates of the classes you want to join, so that we can invite you to the correct private Facebook event pages. If you forget to do this, please send us a private message with the date(s).
